Tour Itinerary
Karibu Tanzania – Welcome to Zanzibar. Arrive Zanzibar airport where you’ll be met by our Mimi 2 Africa Luxury Travel representative and transferred to your hotel in Stone Town then start your tour by exploring attraction sites such as the old Anglican cathedral church, roman catholic cathedral church, house of wonder and then come back later go back to your hotel and go back to forodhani market for a night experience with the locals.
In the evening enjoy dinner up on the roof of your hotel overlooking the entire city and enjoy the local entertainment.
After arriving in Stone town, your guide will introduce you to all the buildings of interest and famous viewpoints. Stone Town and its buildings are full of history and stories of the old times on Zanzibar, when Sultans, Arabs, Europeans and Zanzibaris wrote the history of this beautiful island. You will visit the Anglican Cathedral and the Slave markets, the Palace of the Sultans, Tip Tip’s House, the Old Arabic Fort, Forodhani Park and of course the famous Zanzibar Doors in our petite little streets. We will show you Henna Art and bring you to the fruit and vegetable market. So be ready for a walk through the long history of Zanzibar and its numerous rulers.

Enjoy hearty breakfast at the hotel and check-out.
In the morning explore Stone Town further or Visit Prison Island and have lunch at the Nakupenda Sandbank or Prison Island. And learn the short history of the Prison Island and later the drive will come to pick you up to transfer you to your beach resort. Spend the next couple of days relaxing at the beach or taking a snorkeling/dive trip, which can be arranged at the dive shop at your beach resort.

Relaxing at the beach and going a safari blue tour experience.
This will be full day sailing around mangroves and snorkelling along the Menai Bay, which is one of the best coral reefs in Zanzibar also one can choose to sail to Kwale Island for relaxing, Swimming or snorkelling. This tour experience is well known for its unique experience by swimming with the dolphins and deep diving experience. Enjoy the best fresh seafood barbeque; Octopus, Lobsters, squids, Calamari, Fish and so on.

On this particular day you will have enough time for relaxation on the resort, Sun bathing, enjoying the sunset from the beach it’s also a perfect day for massage and long walk along the beach area. Enjoy the rest of your day with the evening sunset in the beach area.

Zanzibar, you can find one of the natural lagoons full of sea turtles. In Baraka Aquarium they are buying the turtles, caught by fishermen and they are releasing them back to the fresh ocean water in the lagoon. You’re going to swim with the turtle’s as you witness and take photos of the Aldabra giant turtles use this unique opportunity to swim with sea turtles.
During the visit you can also feed turtles with sea weed or just spend your time in the water. Also, you can take snorkeling mask to dive and watch them in their natural environment on the way back you can pass by to Nungwi village and do a short village tour with your local guide.

After breakfast depart for Jozani forest that is Zanzibar’s only national park, and although quite small, 50 square km only, it’s bursting with life in all its forms. From the amazing sky-high trees, mangrove areas, and the Medicine jungle are a tranquil home to rare red Colobus monkeys and two endemic antelope species, Zanzibar, chameleons, mongoose, tree hyrax, civets, 50 different species of butterflies and 40 species of birds.
